11/25/13 Weekly Update

Hey Everyone. Well I got my transfer call! I'm leaving O'Malley!! I've been assigned to the Fairbanks 1st Ward. My companion's name is Elder Poulsen. Funny I know. Pawson and Poulsen. Its already -30 up there, and will only get colder, so I don't want to hear any complaning from you people in the midwest when it is 10 degrees and you are cold!! I had to buy some leggings today, but those boots you gave me, Sis Richardson, are really going to come in handy now! People tell me i need to get "bunny boots" which are these white rubber boots, but will keep your feet warm to like, -100. Too bad they are 400 bucks!! Said goodbye to a lot of people this weekend, it wasn't as bad as I thought. But the ward is super mad they are getting whitewashed again. Elder Springer is going to be a ZL in Wasilla. This is the 4th time they have been whitewashed this year. THey expected the last ones because the missionaries weren't obedient, but they were finally happy to have obedient, hard working missionaries, and then we got taken away haha. Yesterday at church we pulled up and parked and befoer I could get out, we noticed tehre was a momma moose and a baby moose standing right in front of our door! Elder SPringer freaked out because he is scared of moose, I thought we could run and make it lol. Moose kill more people out here than bears! Got a good pic though! I sent it home this time. The first picture is of the other district in our zone. They were taking a district picture and Elder Springer and I jumped in, since Elder Nelson is the district leader and he is my real dad. They would always come get me from my district meeting and take me to theres whenever they had a question on how to teach a catholic, it was pretty funny. The last pic is my district.
